Design Trends

I can not believe we are through the first few months of 2024. I know everyone predicts design trends each year and it’s fun to see where design is gravitating to, but I’ve realized there truly is no trend. We are currently working on about five projects right now and each one of them is so different.  Everyone has their own unique personal style and I think I love that most about design. Just like the world goes around, design would be so boring without personalities and unique styles. I think what’s so important in hiring a good designer is that they can pull from their clients interest, personalities and style and make a beautiful home for them to live in.

As a designer, I am constantly thinking of ways to make design feel true to our client.  It needs to be functional & beautiful and most of the time we are working within a budget that the client feels comfortable with. 

I really love getting to know our clients and collaborate with them on the designs. It’s so exciting when the brainstorming begins and we get to take all ideas and make something amazing. I think that is a great way for our clients to feel like their home is special to them and not just another design project. 

It’s not just about the design, it’s about creating beautiful moments for clients. Banquette seating, where family game night can take place. A grand large island for entertaining guests, that cozy little spot by a window to sit and read a good book. These are the things we try to create, so that our client can truly make their home their sanctuary. 

Design trends will definitely come & go. What I believe is so much more important is  making a home feel personal & curated for our clients to love & enjoy for years to come.
