As the year comes to a close, I've found myself reflecting on everything 2025 held—the growth, the gratitude, the moments that stretched me, and the ones that filled me up. This year felt full in the very best way.
One of the biggest highlights was finishing three truly amazing projects. Each one pushed us creatively and reminded me why I love what I do so much. Beyond full-scale projects, I had the privilege of helping so many clients with furnishings and styling, bringing spaces together in a way that feels personal, layered, and lived-in. Those finishing touches are where the magic really happens.
This year also marked a huge milestone for me personally and professionally—opening my first office and design studio, Swatch House Collective. Watching this dream come to life has been incredibly surreal. Having a dedicated space to create, meet with clients, pull selections, and collaborate feels like such a turning point, and I'm so proud of what it's becoming.
Travel played a big role in inspiring me this year. From Mexico, California, Seattle, Nashville, to wandering the streets of London and Paris, each place offered fresh perspective and creative energy. I also attended design markets in High Point and Las Vegas, which are always equal parts inspiring and grounding—reminders of how much there is to learn and how exciting this industry continues to be.
Looking ahead, I'm especially excited about the new projects we started this year that will be completed next year. I already know they're going to be special, and I can't wait to share more as they unfold.
On a more personal note, I spent time making updates to my own home, and I'm truly in love with how it's eveolving. Creating a space for myself that feels thoughtful, cozy, and reflective of where I am right now has been so fulfilling.
Perhaps one of the most meaningful parts of 2025 was meeting so many wondering new clients. The trust you place in me and my team never goes unnoticed, and I'm endlessly grateful for the relationships that grow out of this work.
Of course, this year wasn't without its learning moments. Owning a business can be challenging, and there were times that tested me. But every challenge came with perspective. I'm always striving to learn, grow, and get better—as a business owner, as a designer, and as a firm. Those moments are shaping something even stronger.
As I wrap up 2025, my heart feels full—of gratitude, excitement, and motivation for what's ahead. Thank you to everyone who was part of this year in big or small ways. I can't wait to see what 2026 brings.
Here's to growth, creativity, and continuing to build something meaningful.
